Booted Racket-tails are some of the best hummingbirds! These two tiny males are engaged in a territorial display, flaring their puffy white "boots" and spreading their tails in an attempt to look bigger and more intimidating near a feeder.
Beautiful little hummingbirds are really quite pugnacious and willing to tangle with a competitor.
