This tiny woodstar in the foreground is perfectly willing to challenge the much larger Fawn-breasted Brilliant to get the nectar of these flowers. Both tails are flared in a shot with perfect timing (and a lot of luck!).
When I see two hummingbirds arrive at a flower, I zoom out and hope to capture this sort of confrontation.
