Starfrontlets are one of the larger hummingbirds, with one of the best names. You can see the buff wing patches near the body. along with the delicate iridescence in the "wing pits" (axillaries).

The iridescent patches on the throat and forehead are well seen as the bird faces the camera and flashes; but the long bill is foreshortened at this angle.
