Mt. Whitney East Face at Sunrise, California

Mt. Whitney is the highest peak in the US outside Alaska, at 14.505 feet. It catches the early morning sunlight, but the sun must first rise above the 11,000 foot Inyo Mountains to the East, which can make catching that early morning golden light a challenge.
