A wonderful opportunity for the Rockhopper Penguins -- and photographers -- is this "Penguin Shower" where a freshwater stream cascades down over an rock overhang.
I've noticed that the Rockhoppers like to "rinse off" after leaving the ocean. Perhaps they are cleaning themselves of parasites? Regardless, there is a steady stream of Rockhoppers waiting fo their turn in the shower, midway on their long climb up to their nesting colony.
A 1/125 sec shutter speed partly blurs the falling water and shows motion.
