The King Penguin is truly the most majestic in the Falkland Islands, and the largest. Adults stand up to 3 feet tall and weigh up to 35 pounds (16 kg).
Diving as deep as 1,000 feet (300 m) for food in the darks depths, their light-sensitive eyes are usually closed on sunny days on land.
