Sandhill Crane in Flight

Against a blue sky shortly aftert sunrise, I followed this Sandhill Crane using autofocus and a large lens on a Wimberley tripod head. I had positioned myself upwind of their roosting area hoping they would fly by. I was able to capture a series of sharp images with my motordrive headed to farm fields to feed.
